Wild at Heart’ is so much more than just another soap bar. It represents a beautiful collaboration between two local Brisbane brands, Eco Three Leaf and The Rescue Collective who first crossed paths when the unforgettable bushfires tore through the Australian summer of 2019/2020.
Now joining forces once again, Eco Three Leaf and The Rescue Collective are excited to collaborate on a special soap bar with Australian wildlife carers and volunteers in mind.
Eco Three Leaf will be donating 25% of the proceeds of 'Wild at Heart' soap bar to The Rescue Collective to assist the work they do supporting wildlife carers.
Rescuers and wildlife carers are known for their endless compassion when it comes to the Australian wildlife they rescue, rehabilitate and release and may therefore be affectionately known to be 'wild at heart'.
The rich green soap base represents the eucalyptus trees and the Australian native bush, whilst the gold represents not only the 'hearts of gold' of all animal rescuers and volunteers but also the golden wattle scattered throughout the bush. In a nod to our iconic Australian Koala, who is sadly listed as a threatened species, the soap is then topped off with a tiny embedded gold soap Koala and emblazoned with a gold 'Wild at Heart' stamp to give this soap bar that something a little extra.
Just like the carers, volunteers and Australian wildlife and bush it represents, each soap is individually hand made and unique. If you would like to donate to the crucial work The Rescue Collective do for our wildlife carers in the community or to get involved with their volunteer and community projects please visit the team today www.therescuecollective.org.au/
Scent: Smells like a swirling wild mix of lemon myrtle, mixed with a light sweet floral bouquet, and light eucalyptus grounded by an Australian Sandalwood base.
Biogone wrap: All soaps are wrapped in 'Biogone' film to avoid 'soap sweat' due to the high glycerine soap base which pulls moisture from the air and may at times form tiny moisture beads on the soap surface. Soap sweat does not compromise the soap at all. Biogone clingfilm is BPA free, is landfill-biodegradable and can be recycled or disposed of in the general rubbish bin. Once disposed to landfill, biodegradation is accelerated approximately 90%+ faster than conventional plastic cling wrap, producing an organic matter (a natural fertiliser) and no microplastics.
